Bears win. Not good
They now have 7 wins...

Our best hope now,is for Minny to beat Green Bay Sunday and drop them to 6-4 now.
We now will probably need Green Bay to tank to have a real shot fellows.

But then this means we MUST beat Minny to keep them out next week. (as well as this titans game)

It can be done...keep the faith.

I'll update this thread at the top,to keep us updated!

Lets beat those Titans 1st

After losing two straight games, [the latter of which we had two weeks to prepare for] and still didn't show up, I'd be content just to win a game. Reality has a way of putting optimism in perspective and right now, reality has demonstrated we are not a very good football team. I agree with SS, one game at a time and forget the hypotheticals.

I just don't see it happening ACE, 8-8 is more likely for us. Bears have a tough sched coming up but their 7-3. Green Bay is too good not to finish 10-6 or better. Falcons and saints will get in and unfortunately one of those west teams will make it at 8-8 probably. Eagles will win the East and NY will finish 9-7 at worst. Heck even TB has 6 wins. I'm a homer but I'm a realist also, we won't make the playoffs. D is horrible and our offense is still too inconsistent .

Oh I agree...it isn't looking too good.

My only hope is we find a way to play better on offense and our defense against the eagles was just an anomaly.

If our O-line can give Mcnabb enough time to make the big throws downfield,we might have a shot. We certainly have a good running game and with Williams and ATV are pretty good. Plus we will be getting Portis back who is a great blocker.

But regardless of how good or bad anybody thinks our defense is...if we don't score points,we ain't gonna do it.

and we MUST improve our 3rd down %
We scored 28 points against the eagles and were like 0-12 or something like that on 3rd down in that game...

Imagine how good the offense could be if we converted?

I will say this though...we are a hell of a lot more exciting now with Mcnabb.
We just need to pull it all together.

Anybody else read this in yesterday's WaPo? Our 3rd down % is literally making history. Washington Redskins failing on third-down conversions at historic rate (http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/content/article/2010/11/18/AR2010111806090.html)

Kyle Shanny said "I've never been a part of anything like this." Anyone getting tired of hearing that stuff from coaches and players year in and year out? "I've never been around this before." "I've never experienced this kind of losing before." etc, etc. Seems like we hear it every year.

Just once in my adult life I don't want the Skins to be a big fail.

11 Sun, Nov 21 Tennessee Titans @ Tennessee (5-4) 1:00 pm EST
12 Sun, Nov 28 Minnesota Vikings vs Minnesota (3-6) 1:00 pm EST
13 Sun, Dec 5 New York Giants @ NY Giants (6-3) 1:00 pm EST
14 Sun, Dec 12 Tampa Bay Buccaneers vs Tampa Bay (6-3) 1:00 pm
15 Sun, Dec 19 Dallas Cowboys @ Dallas (2-7) 1:00 pm EST
16 Sun, Dec 26 Jacksonville Jaguars @ Jacksonville (5-4) 1:00 pm EST
17 Sun, Jan 2 New York Giants vs NY Giants (6-3) 1:00 pm EST

Minnesota, Dallas and Jacksonville SHOULD be wins.
We should split the Giants.
Tampa Bay is not as good as their record.
Tennessee this week is a winnable game.

These remaining games are all winnable, none of the games scare me like a few in the first half, but realistically we'll probably drop one of the Giants games. The Titans are the best remaining team, I don't buy into the Bucs.

We CAN do it...we just need to get things going fast.

Yeah I'm done buying the whole "Tampa isn't as good as their record" thing. We're in week 10 now, and they're right in the hunt. They hung with Atlanta in the Georgia Dome down to the very end. They're a team on the rise.

We're playing like hot dog shit, and saying we "should" beat anyone at this point is a joke.

Yeah! that was the last article I read before going to bed, after reading the Washington City Paper's article headlined: "The Cranky Redskin Fan's Guide to Dan Snyder".

It's time for this staff to understand, they're going to be held accountabe for the product they put on the field and take responsibiltty for it's end results. Three straight running plays to start the game against Philly, come on man.

What's bothered me about shanahan (don't mean to get off topic)
is not the play calling from kyle/or him...but the personel decisions he's made.

He originally cut Banks...yet,we got him back, but anyone could have claimed him off waivers and he'd be gone. I wouldn't be as critical about this, had banks not shown Crazy speed during the preseason, which the team desperately lacks already.
(did the same with ATV as well)

Roydell Williams and Galloway have been terrible. Moss wouldn't have been an upgrade? Hell,I would be ok with keeping D.Thomas over these 2 guys...At least he's young with good talent and bat route running.

Then there's the benching of mcnabb

Hayesworth situation

The little use of the talent at TE. Does he know that Cooley is a probowler and Davis is very talented? Why doesn't he use these guy's in the red zone?
How about putting these 2 in on 3rd down since were 0-279 on 3rd down...lol

I'm sure there are others, but this has me very confused...
