It was too soon for him to come back. Seriously, the muscle was torn from the freaking bone.
Portis is back, will play SundaySirClintonPortis 11-21-2010, 07:01 PM It was too soon for him to come back. Seriously, the muscle was torn from the freaking bone. MTK 11-21-2010, 07:04 PM Hopefully it's nothing major. CP was really playing well today. irish 11-21-2010, 07:21 PM Hopefully it's nothing major. CP was really playing well today. For the few plays he was in he did look good. I think that was mostly because he was rested. CP is even more injury prone now than he was before, this has to be has last round-up with the Skins. Monkeydad 11-22-2010, 12:20 PM Hopefully it's nothing major. CP was really playing well today. Definitely looked good...we missed his field presence and he ran very well. But news looks bad: Redskins Insider - Clinton Portis played despite lingering groin injury (http://voices.washingtonpost.com/redskinsinsider/clinton-portis/clinton-portis-played-despite.html?wprss=redskinsinsider) 44ever 11-23-2010, 11:19 AM Redskins Insider - Clinton Portis hopes to play Sunday (http://voices.washingtonpost.com/redskinsinsider/clinton-portis/in-addition-to-portis-ongoing.html) Against the Viks!?!? Hard to question the guy this year, he could easily coast and sit back and collect his guaranteed $$ but he's not. 44ever 11-23-2010, 11:29 AM Good news on CP. Hard to question the guy this year, he could easily coast and sit back and collect his guaranteed $$ but he's not. He got my respect! These injuries have got to be so frustrating for him. You can tell by the way he ran last week, he still loves the game and can still bring it. There is no doubt, we are a better team when he is on the field. It would be nice to see him healthy. Jontrem 11-23-2010, 11:35 AM I'll take CP on any of my teams any day. He went down in the Rams game because his arm was injured and he knew 5 players were closing in and he did not want to fumble, that's called field awareness. Also IMO best pass blocking RB ever! aceinthehouse 11-23-2010, 11:36 AM It truly is sad, because I don't see him on the roster next season. Which means he was soooo close to Riggins Redskins rushing record and just falls a little short. |
