Alot of teams have attendance issues depending on their W-L record. Especially with a team like the Jags that doesn't have a long established tradition to fall back on.

Exactly why they should go to LA and not the Vikings.

Exactly why they should go to LA and not the Vikings.

The problem for the Jags is the fact that they only have 1 "Star" player in MJD.. When they had Brunell and Company fans always showed up to their games.

I would think the league would rather have Minnesota move to L.A, it's a "sexier" team in most eyes.

Jacksonville isn't a NFL town really. They are a UF town and I was surprised in all honestly that the owners didnt demand that they pick Tebow....he is bigger than Jesus Christ down there!

Yes I agree. the Jag fans don't even seem to care about their team.

No they are just too cheap to buy tickets to sit there and boo the players all game long.

They keep saying LA but from what I understand the stadium will be built out by Ontario CA near what they call the Inland Empire. That's not exactly across the street from the LA Coliseum.

It would be a sad day for Viking fans it that were to happen. Forty years they've been there through a lot of up's and down's. They're hoping it's just talk.

L.A. doesn't want a team, the league wants L.A. to have a team because it's a big TV market.

They had two teams...did not go to the games, did not support them...lost them. They don't deserve a third chance.

If anyone goes there...it will be the Jags.

I don't believe Minnesota would allow the Vikings to leave. Sure, they're threatening now to get a new stadium like the Twins did...but I don't see it being allowed to happen.

This!
LA will not support a team. The weather is too nice, big beautiful Pacific ocean and great Rocky mountains to play in. I would not spend my Sunday's indoors for 3 to 4 hours watching a football game. That is what DVR's are for.
We must learn from history and not to repeat the same mistakes over and over. The NFL knows this.....it is just strong arm negotiations on the part of the Vikings to get their posh new stadium with all the bells and whistles.
NFL teams hold cities hostage in these negotiations.

There is a rumor on local radio today that the owner of the staples center is going to buy 35% of the Chargers. If he does, they are pretty much on their way to LA.
The Chargers couldn't sell out their first two homes games this year(local Blackout)...

It's possible but the Vikings have a strong fan base so it wouldn't be fair to take that team away. Raiders and Chargers seem to be the most likely candidates with the Jags a distant third. Buffalo also gets mentioned but they seem more likely to move to Toronto if anywhere at all.
