That's way generous IMO. I think he's about a top 30 back at best, he often misses holes, doesn't have great speed & can only run straight ahead in the open field. I don't think his vision is that good, but when he cuts decisively he does hit the hole hard.
How many other backs do you know of in the league that can carry LB's with them and run over people on a daily basis...not many. He scores TD's and he's good at it.

Torain is a decent player but nothing that scares anyone, we need an explosive RB, I'd rather stick with Davis and see what he can do

I was kind of surprised Shanny let Alridge walk. Not that he's an everdown back, but I thought he could be an electrifying change of pace guy

I guess having two runts who are practically returners with fumbling problems was not deemed to be worth it. :D

Torain is a walking injury type. Many of us did question his staying power. What we need is to find the next Brandon Jacobs or Brian Westbrook, or better yet Stephen Davis.
