I'm no mod, but I know how it goes with people when politically linked figures die. Hopefully people keep it classy. :Smoker:

It's a shame. Her life went severely.....south in the last few years.

Sad news. I feel badly for her kids this Christmas, hopefully they can find some solace in the fact that she is now at peace.

Man, I was just reading earlier today how she stopped treating, so the end was obviously coming just didn't realize it would be that quick. F cancer, just F it.

It's unfortunate that terrible things happen to good people. Rest in Peace.

She admitted about 3 years ago that she got lazy about having her mammograms done and doing self exams. This isn't to say that would have saved her, but the earlier you detect it the easier it is to treat.

As someone who lost two aunts to breast cancer this year, I implore you to make sure your wife, mom, sister, aunt, etc are doing the things Mrs. Edwards neglected. May she rest in peace

My father died 4 months ago today from colon cancer. He became a huge proponent of colonoscopies for everyone. Cancer is a terrible disease.

Her kids are 12 and 10, that really sucks to lose your Mom at such a young age

I feel horrible for her and her children. To have done to her, what her husband did to her, during such a hard time... inexcusable.
