Referee Slammed to the Ground

This doesnt happen as much in boxing and MMA because the referees most of the time are also fighters, so you gotta be careful because most of the time they are just as well trained as you are. We have 1 guy who referees amateur fights, but also competes too, so he'd be ready lol.

What's with the dude in the baseball cap who just strolls onto the court? Is he his brother or something?

This is really sad. That kid has some serious issues in his life that need to be addressed. I played fall, winter, and spring sports from kindergarten through 12th grade. I've been angry with refs/officials before, but my goodness. It never crossed my mind to yell at a ref, let alone physically assault one.

It comes down to having respect for authority, and this kid clearly has none. Probably won't be long before he's behind bars.

It's is horrible to see that. I think there was a college game a few years back where a kid knocked a ref out cold.

They say organized sports helps a kid learn about life. I think that is true. Things like respect, sportsmanship, authority, etc. He clearly missed all that.

Ref probably had it coming. They were probably on the same flight and the ref reclined his seat.

Wow, this is the first time ive read anything from Pro Bball Talk before...... Every now and then you get the guys at PFT going a little further into a non-basketball subject or ideology, but this is ridiculous. And its not like this is the offseason for the NBA, playoffs start THIS WEEKEND.
