Sucks for you Matty, they predicted 2-4 inches where I live today and all we got was a light half inch dusting that was gone by the time I woke up. :) I'll be glad if we don't see another flake for the rest of the year, although I'm still concerned about freezing rain.

4 inches of weightless, fluff. Made for easy shoveling at 6 a.m.

Can't even pack the stuff though, it's useless.

I know about 35 people flying into NY for a conecting flight on Friday. They are worried about getting stuck in that mess.

It's pretty bad here in Georgia. I've been holed up since Sunday due to the roads freezing over. Apparently the same snow storm that hit the South has been moving it's way up North.

Most of metro Atlanta's interstates and several secondary roads are still solid sheets of ice for the third straight day.

"Please, please stay off the road," said WSB traffic anchor Cpt. Herb Emory.
There is still ice on all the interstates around the city. All the interstates have lanes that are not passable because of ice, but none of them were shutdown during the morning commute.

"About half the lanes are blocked on most of the interstates," said WSB traffic reporter Doug Turnbull. "Some have more lanes blocked and conditions are very slow."

This storm hit you guys and then pretty much skipped over NC and VA and then hit up north. We got hit last time and it missed the ones getting hit now.

I don't know if it skipped over NC. My brothers a freshman at NC State and he recently had a few classes canceled due to the snow.

Maybe it hit inland but it skipped us along the coast.

We had 2 inches on Tuesday night, but it is calling for a higher amount of accumulation on our next snow storm, which is supposed to be on monday...

How is the snow looking for folks in the mid-Atlantic and Northeast? Apparently they had all sorts of problems in Northern Virginia. It just snowed too fast in a small period of time, which happened to be rush hour. I think around 6-8 inches in all.

It took my father 6 hours to make a 30 minute commute. My aunt got stuck, because she drives a smaller car, and had to leave it on route 7100 and walk home.
