That's why the Pro Bowl is a complete joke and they should just do away with it. No one wants to play in it and it's watered down to the point where 3 guys from the worst defense in the NFL are playing.
2nd worst defense

Explain how D. Hall doesn't deserve it? Don't say "Had it not been for the Chicago game," fact is he caught 4 picks that game. He single handedly won us 2 games this year and how can you say he's not the best CB on the team. Who is? Carlos? Please!

I don't think DeAngelo Hall deserves it. Had it not been for that one game in Chicago, he most likely wouldn't be going. He still gets beat FAR too often to warrant a pro-bowl selection. Wasn't he one of the worst rated CBs in terms of giving up passes/TDs compared to others? Guy is completely overrated.
That said, I can see why they have Rak in there, but Fletcher's numbers have been going down since 2005. (solo tackles, not assists) My guess is that age is catching up to him.

Once again, not much respect from Skins fans when it comes to D. Hall.
If Hall doesnt deserve it, neither do these guys: Antoine Winfield, Brent Grimes and Tramon Williams. Because hall is better than all of them.

A good CB can tackle as well as defend against the pass. There is more to it than INT's which Hall just happens to also lead the pack. Guess I'm watching a different D. Hall
As far as Fletcher, He is the textbook NFL ILB.

I feel bad that Fletcher needs other people to decline to go. He probably should have been our only person going to the pro-bowl. I'd argue D Hall isn't the best CB on this team, let alone one of the top NFC corners.
Who is our best CB on our team? Carlos "Butter-hands" Rogers?

I find it hilarious that Redskins fans will argue against one of their own players having any kind of positive noteworthy recognition. I'd even be happy with Carlos Rogers being in the Pro Bowl. The fact that we have three players going to the Pro Bowl is outstanding, even if two of them were just alternates.

Cheers to that.
I get tired of hearing fans crap on any positive news too.

Watch him on the field. He can still play at the same level, demolishing anyone who comes across the middle. Ask Brandon Jacobs if Fletch can hit.

Fletcher isn't even a top NFL middle linebacker. He's just an average player now. Solid high character guy and all but not a top tier player anymore.

Note that this year we were in a 3-4 much of the time so he was splitting MLB tackles with McIntosh.
I think our best performer this year was pretty much a tie between Moss Landry and Fletch.
I think the probowl should consist of players selected by the players on each team 50% and coaches for players on other teams 50%
Fans in mass don't know jack....they usually just vote for a guy that got in the prior year...RAK did not deserve it this year IMO....just like Samuals didn't deserve his last pro bowl.
Not saying that I am not excited....just saying there are plenty of players that are left home that had stellar years because there is some more familiar name talked about during the games.
What I find interesting are the 1st probowl inductees...these guys are usually in completely on the merit of the year they had, unless it was for some slight in the past such as Fletch.
I just dont like this voting thing...reminds me of the BCS ranking problem.
I do trust coaches and players opinions though.
