I like the rookies we drafted, Helu in particular. He's got the quickness you look for in Shanahan's system, one cut and homerun. No need to do anything at this position, we're good.

In a normal free agency year, this is the kind of class where you know that supply exceeds demand, so you can let the market decide who isn't going to get signed, and then in July you go out and pick up a back like a Jerious Norwood or a Leon Washington who can actually make the difference in one or two out of your 16 games. Problem is, the market isn't going to set until the middle of the preseason. Now, we are in an advantageous position because we have no need anywhere on the RB depth chart. I still think Shanahan brings someone in, even if it's unlikely they make the team, because it's so rare that a potential starter at RB will be available in the middle of August on a one year contract, but that's where we're at this year. I see my comment above about Todman, I think he gonna be a good fit with Norv in that system if he makes the team.
