One crazy guy. He has predicted it before so not sure why it got so much belief except that he spent a lot of money hyping it.
He predicated it on saying that the flood happened on such and such date which is exactly 7000 years ago.

Why 6PM though? That's the part that made me laugh the most.
The sad thing is there are people out there making $$ off the gullible dumb-asses out there that fall for this crap. I read an article that said some people quit their jobs or emptied their life savings. Believe me I don't feel bad for those knuckleheads but it's obvious these so called prophets are nothing more than modern day snake oil peddlers.

The sad thing is i bet this guy has threats on his life now by the same so called "church people" who beleived him in the first place.
This is where my wife and I disagree on Religion. We both believe in God, trust in Jesus, etc...but she came from a really strict religious family who think church is the greatest thing since sliced bread.
Me on the other hand, I have yet to have a good experience in a "church". Every church i've visited around here, has either had a wackjob for a preacher, very blatantly demand your money, or just preach crazy bullshit. I had one church tell me straight up in the sermon that the people who didnt give anything for the offering that day, that your father in heaven would remember that when you met him at the end of your life. I'm not gonna name names of the worst church i've been too, incase anybody on the forum here goes there, or knows somebody who does, etc...but PM me and i'll tell you discreetly.
But, I'm glad to be alive still! Looking foreward to (hopefully) another season of football.

I genuinely feel sorry for these people who were expecting the world to end. They have invest so much money/emotions only to be let down. They must be very devastated. Hopefully they will be able to recover.

The way I understood it was it was 6pm wherever you were. So every hour basically there would be massive earthquakes

Remember, everyday is the end of the world for someone. Let's bring God's grace to that someone today.
