Cant coach intelligence PaulieG 04-04-2012, 08:41 AM I haven't been able to fully confirm this, but since NC wants to know...Luck got a 41 on his Wonderlic and Griffin got a 44. I still have to wonder why the NFL uses the damn Wonderlic. It's a very dated test, and not the best tool for the job. I do psychological testing for a living, and I can tell you that there are many more accurate and brief tests available, including the KBIT. As a Master's level clinician, I can do the testing, scoring and reporting in less than 2 hours total. You could also include some aptitude testing like CAPS that will hit anything relavent that KBIT doesn't. Bubba305-ST21- 04-04-2012, 09:56 AM Talkin about Phillip Thomas this article shows why he want to be a Redskin. Sean Taylor had a huge impact on this kid and therefore I believe he will run through a wall for this team!! The Redskins Blog | Syracuse Safety Inspired By Sean Taylor (http://blog.redskins.com/2012/03/23/syracuse-safety-inspired-by-sean-taylor/) we need safety help bad. i have never seen much of this guy, but its hard not to love his attitude. If hes up to par on the field, i would love to give him a look at being a redskin and from the sounds of it he would too and not to mention he looks up too the best guy he could for the job, seanT. The Redskins Blog | Syracuse Safety Inspired By Sean Taylor (http://blog.redskins.com/2012/03/23/syracuse-safety-inspired-by-sean-taylor/) These are the types of moves I hope we make in the draft. Since it's such a weak safety market, hopefully we'll have our pick of all but the very top prospect. The Redskins Blog | Syracuse Safety Inspired By Sean Taylor (http://blog.redskins.com/2012/03/23/syracuse-safety-inspired-by-sean-taylor/) Wow good story and cool connection. Same neighborhood as Sean and is a safety? Gotta get this guy in the burgundy and gold. Skins just got the 3 so far. Monkeydad 04-04-2012, 11:43 AM I haven't been able to fully confirm this, but since NC wants to know...Luck got a 41 on his Wonderlic and Griffin got a 44. Wow...beat the Stanford kid. :D PilarVIRUS 04-05-2012, 03:13 AM Phillip Thomas is indeed a dominating presents on the field, though most of his issues come with dealing with the big play, much like D.Hall, he could easily be coached into something better. I believe he's going to be a seal for the Redskins in the late 4th or early 5th rounds. SBXVII 04-05-2012, 06:51 PM When ones having a bad day, most of us would just say..... stop posting. Nope, not me. I'm going to fight through it. I posted this in the OL:draft thread because well I was already there. LSU's Claiborne amazing Wonderlic score (and not in the good way) (http://www.csnwashington.com/football-washington-redskins/redskins-talk/lsus-claiborne-amazing-wonderlic-score-a?blockID=682260&feedID=6355) Seemingly every year during the lead up to the NFL Draft, a train wreck of a story pops up about a notable prospect posting a train wreck of a Wonderlic test score. This year is no exception. Pro Football Talk posted some details about the carnage resulting from the test taken by LSU cornerback Morris Claiborne, a likely top 10 pick and at one point in the mix for the Redskins at six before the trade with the Rams... "The NFL has kept the Wonderlic results under tighter wraps than usual this year. Or maybe the media has had enough other things to keep itself occupied. "Regardless, the first eye-opening score has leaked from the 2012 edition of the 50-question Wonderlic test. Per multiple league sources, LSU cornerback Morris Claiborne scored a four. "Yes. A four. Out of 50."
