I don't like this move. Looks like training camp fodder. He was out of football last year. Relatively old for a wide receiver and slow. Looks like another Larry Johnson, Shawn Alexander or Joey Galloway signing.

He was with the Ravens last year. He's only 30 years old.

He's 30, not 33. He's just a camp body for now.

I don't get this move at all. Stallworth has pretty much been an underachiever his whole career. I know it's low risk but get the young guys on the field. Who cares if they make mistakes? Does MS realize that this isn't a playoff team?

It's cool man, as for Stallworth? I don't see him making the team. AA is better and Moss and Hank will be here obviously. Plus I still see another WR signing coming

Speed deep threat not a bad choice for a competition

Stallworth is another shining example of the [possibly foolish] "dual mandate" the FO is operating in. They're probably hoping he can play good special teams and be ok should the injury bug strikes. Hopefully, he gets cut unless his competition(Paul, Robinson, Kelly) proves themselves utterly incapable of contributing.

It's a 1-year deal for depth, don't make any more of it than it is.

I don't have a problem with the signing, there's no risk or damage done by it. In fact, I am glad they did not spend a lot on a WR because it's really not a big need, we are deep at WR.

Stallworth may not even make the team....don't get your panties in a knot and pile on with the media saying "Redskins are so stupid....durrrrrrr".

How much communication between team leaders and the FO is there? We drafted 3 WRs, signed moss, have AA, and are looking for a big time WR in FA. Signing Stallworth as a camp body seems unusual in my mind unless we pitched to him that he could very well make the team, which seems unlikely for us to do unless we believed it considering it would be pointless to lie, and it would create poor trust among agents. How many of our rookie WRs showed up at our team practices? Is it possible that it has been reported to the FO that one or more of our rookies simply aren't preforming?
