I just got back into the US from a 3 year stint in Japan. I'll be living in Beaufort SC, and I'm not sure which of the two companies will give me the best oppurtunity to view Skins games. If you have had both, please weigh-in and let me know the pros and cons.

Right next to Parris Island and the MC Depot? Niiice. I was down there for a few days back in April, that is an absolutely great town if you can get used to the sand fleas.

And yeah, definitely go with Directv. Make sure they're offering the deal in your area, which I'm pretty sure they are, but they'll give you your first year of Sunday Ticket free if you're a new customer.

Does Roku or any of those online services have an NFL package?

I have Comcast because of the number of TVs in my house. The charger per box on DirecTV would bankrupt me. Comcast has boxes, but you can still get the basic channels by just plugging the set directly into the cable outlet.

You could always try to hit up a local pub. I remember a long time ago there was a page somewhere on the internet dedicated to bars and restaurants across America that play the Redskins on Sundays. If you do a search you can probably find it.

Yo, I live in Charleston, SC and the only way to go to never have to leave your house on a Sunday to watch the Skins is to get Direct TV. I have comcast and a buddy of mine has DTV, and I watch either most of our games there or at a sports bar. We get some games on local TV but not as much as I like. Most of the games on here are either Panthers or Falcons.

I just Direct TV back after a two year lay off. if you want to see your Redskins and are outside of the viewing area DTV is it. Like one of the previous posters just said, if you get DTV right now NFL Sunday ticket is FREE for the year.

Direct TV was a total and complete nightmare. The only good thing they have going for them is the NFL package. If you want to see all the Skins games then get it. If the Skins games blackout you will not get the game no matter what. If you live in an area of the country where it's windy and rains then be prepared for your picture to go out. That pretty much happens anywhere so be prepared. :-)
