Congratulations buster welcome to the sleepless nights. I am on week four. What is hard this go around is not only am I tired from my newborn girl I still have to play and chase my three old son. All worth it though.
Actually...she only gets up once, sometimes twice a night.
Great sleeper. Our son started sleeping through the night at 3 weeks old too.
I didn't think we'd get lucky TWICE, but I think we did. :D
All other parents probably hate me for this.

Congratulations, Buster! Very great news.
The board is adding lots of daughters this year. My wife and I entered the parenting world in April with the birth of our own little girl. Relatives made sure she had a Redskins outfit to wear when the season kicks off, and it's been all I can do to resist putting it on her until opening day.
As I said, I'm new to the parenting role, but for those who aren't dads yet who might read this thread, I actually do have advice to give. My wife took the full three months off from work after our little girl was born, and then, when my wife went back to work, I took five weeks of leave that I had accumulated with my organization. Let me say this--if you have leave to take when your first (or subsequent) child is born, take it, take as much as you possibly, possibly can. Except for a guarantee that our daughter will live a long, healthy, happy life, I wouldn't trade those five weeks for anything. I actually felt bad for my wife, because I took over just when little girl's smiling and alterness was kicking into high gear. Every single day was awesome. So, really, if you have time to take, take it.

Mine did not sleep through the night that soon but I too was lucky with their sleeping. Sorry but my wife has all ready given away the cheerleading outfit.
