If you could even bump it out into November it would be even better as you would be farther removed from hurricane season. skinsguy 08-29-2011, 10:10 PM Missing football aside, Ocotober is a good time to go on a cruise. It would give me an extra month to save! EARTHQUAKE2689 08-30-2011, 03:52 AM Congrats!! I just got married in June. skinsguy 08-30-2011, 10:18 AM Congrats!! I just got married in June. Congrats Quake! mlmpetert 08-30-2011, 11:05 AM Congrats Skinsguy! Good luck. I like that your engagement is a good year away, seems smarter from a financial savings and finale "test drive" standpoint. Wish you guys well! Hilarious: They can be trained if you just saturate them with all Redskins all the time. Wives are tougher than kids to indoctrinate but if they really love you, it can be done. If you catch one who doesn't have a dedication to a team, at least. :D EARTHQUAKE2689 08-30-2011, 06:43 PM Congrats Quake! Thanks buddy, you can checkout the F...Wedding Planning for what my least favorite part of the process is. skinsguy 08-31-2011, 09:48 AM She already had her first disappointment in the wedding planning (no, she didn't see me naked...lol!) The place she wanted to get married at is booked on our wedding day, plus it's like $15k! We both like the idea of getting married outside in the fall, cool air. Plus, I'm having a hard time finding a cruise that leaves two days after the wedding. I don't want to have to fly out the very next day, because we will be rushed in packing and leaving. Hate to change the wedding date, because the 20th kind of has a special meaning for us. Hate to change the wedding date, because the 20th kind of has a special meaning for us. I made the mistake of flying out the next day. We had a 6am flight, which meant that we had to be at the airport at 4am. Our reception ended close to midnight. By the time we got to the hotel it was close to 1am and we were exhausted. We sort of hung out with our wedding party for the rest of the night (we were concerned about falling asleep so we stayed awake). skinsguy 08-31-2011, 10:03 AM I made the mistake of flying out the next day. I would actually be OK with waiting a week or so if I HAD to. |
