Joe Paterno of Penn State Nittany Lions says ,'If true, we were all fooled' - ESPN (http://espn.go.com/college-football/story/_/id/7200340/joe-paterno-penn-state-nittany-lions-says-true-were-all-fooled)

I think the even bigger story is the cover up from Paterno and school administrators, who are currently charged with perjury and failing to alert the police.(paterno not included in charges)

See. I have a huge problem with Joe Paterno not being charged. He should be.

He's basically saying he knew and yet did nothing. Didn't notify the cops or even follow up on this. Yes he should be charged just like those other clowns. The fact that Penn State is paying for their lawyer fees is laughable as well.

Yeah, I agree. I mean I really don't want to pass judgement on him because I don't know all the facts or the details, but it sounds like he had the opportunity to notify the police and he didn't. And if that's the case, he should be charged just like the others.

Yeah, I really cant believe he didnt know a thing.

These 2 guys Curley and Schultz are just as guilty as Sandusky. They didnt do a thing to protect other children when they knew of the allegations...thats just disgusting as the the actual act.

Jo Pa seems to be a little preoccupied with CIY than giving a damn about the actual victims.

I'll second that article SS, there's no point in him sticking around. He needs to get the f out the door, and man up and accept responsibility for the fact that he knew and did nothing, other than essentially say, "I'm gonna steer clear of this, I don't want anything to do with this problem." But in doing so he let it continue, which is wrong. And what about the grad assistant? How do you witness a grown man going down on a little boy and not immediately call the police? I understand he was in shock, but after the fact he still didn't do anything other than tell JoePa, who also did nothing. It continued for a full 7 years after that, which is pathetic. Everyone involved in this scandal needs to be held accountable, and that includes JoePa.

I thought it was a great game because it was close, hard-fought, and the defenses looked good (I love defense). But yeah, from an offensive point of view it was, well, offensive.

That OT out of bounds run summed up the whole game for me. Wide open endzone and the guy steps out.

Theres a difference between great defense and terrible offense and that game was an example of terrible offense. Between all the dropped passes, the overthrows, and the terrible play calling I think that the defenses ended up with to much credit for this one.

The saddest part is Stanford is number 4 in the BCS standings behind Alabama. How that makes sense is beyond me.

Such a corrupt system. Though I'm hoping for a Bama-LSU rematch. The more times the BCS outright messes up the better chance we have of getting a 16 team playoff.
