I was baking crow for dinner. good game, east carolina is always solid
I"m disappointed. :( SHould have been a win for the Pirates, but our offense (or strong point) shitted the bed two weeks in a row. I gotta give props to VT's defense for the pressure and sacks, but god damn that kid dropping those passes ....arrrrrgggghhhh. Probably a good thing VT had so many penalties to help us out though. ;)
Our OC needs to adjust much better. Good game indeed though.

I was keeping up with the game while I've been at work today, and I thought ECU was about to continue having our number. I hadn't forgotten our loss to them 2 years ago. I didn't get to see any of the game but it sounds like they played hard because it was close.

Expert's Take: Redskins vs. Giants | John Keim | NFL | Washington Examiner (http://washingtonexaminer.com/blogs/nfl/2011/09/experts-take-redskins-vs-giants#ixzz1XY9z5aSN)
The following analysis from Matt Bowen might do the redskins well.
On attacking their defense: “If I was Mike Shanahan, I’d use a lot of three receiver sets. I’d force them to bring a nickelback on the field, see what kind of depth they’ve got and you can run the ball out of that, too. And I’d take a deep shot really early in the game, in the first three plays. I’d want to let them know we’re going to test the secondary all day.”
Cofield is the one player I'll be zeroing in on in tomorrow's game. I want to see how well he man's the position against a team that loves to run the ball inside, especially with a big powerful back like Jacobs.
The Giants....unlike us, go into their season contests against the Redskins believing they're going to win....It's a quiet confidence they have because they've had so much success against us in the past. They don't hope or wish maybe they will win, regardless of the situation or circumstance they honestly believe (to a man) they will beat the Redskins whenever or wherever they play them. We know it's not a lack of respect because we've played so many close games with them.
There was a time when we played with that same type of confidence. We didn't go into games thinking maybe....hoping....if'ing....we "might" win. We knew we were going to win, and I envision us now beginning to develop that kind of mind-set again.

TRUE enough, and I think we are on the road back...finally. I will be a happy man indeed when I do not preface a response to a Redskin question with "If ".

Damn skippy. I feel like we've at least gotten centered as a team and have direction. Intangibles, certainly, but it's the best I've felt about this team in a long time.
That said, I sure hope we win tomorrow. lol

Great news for us (and my Fantasy chances) Here is hoping he gets TD or three. That said know my luck he'll suit up but not play.

I wouldn't start him if I were you.
