If Trent Williams wasn't picked a couple of years ago, what would the OL look like now?It'd be worse.
Not all that much worse, because the concept was to build around two mammoth bookend tackles with smaller, less-touted players like Montgomery and Lichtensteiger. Problem is that neither Williams or Brown has been very good, certainly not the strength of the offense they are being paid to be.
I definitely think we're better off with those two than without them, it's just that we were expecting one thing and have gotten something completely different through 17 games.
