The video of the crash seemed unreal, almost like a movie. Terrible.

there was another air show crash with fatalities this weekend i believe in mass?

reminds me of when the stealth bomber crashed in annapolis at a air show . . you just never know what will happen when you leave the house.

In West Virginia. Bad weekend for air shows.

Doesn't seem that the pilot's age was a factor here. They're looking at mechanical failure or modifications that were made to the plane.

Actually 60 should be the cutoff line. I base it on the fact that old people aren't quick to react, strong enough and they have a tendency to be absent minded.

THIS^^^^^^

Older folks doing things is perfectly fine, but any type of application where you need a license (automobile, motorcycle, airplane, etc...) they should have to take a skills test to ensure they are still safe.

In this case the pilot's age was not a factor. But, having older folks re-test to ensure they are still safe i don't think is a bad thing, or descriminatory. You have to take a test in the first place to get these certifications, and i don't think its unfair to have people re-test to keep them...

What are they suppose to say? It was a factor? Give me a break...he was 74 yo doing 2G turns and traveling at high speed.

Not a factor my ass....I would sue the organizers to hell.

A piece fell off the freaking plane, and it was heavily modified.

He was an extremely experienced stunt pilot. Until it's proved otherwise, talking about his age is retarded.

There's photographic evidence of a piece off the tail flap falling off the plane, which would seem like an obvious marker of evidence of the plane malfunctioning, and he's still blaming the pilot? Come on man.

Why don't we ask Sully whats-his-name from the US Airways flight that landed on the Hudson River if he thinks old people shouldn't be allowed to fly?

if you dont like 60+ yr okd pilots, i imagine you don't have much use for airports.
