We're 2-0.

What were you saying?

uhhh...did you watch the game? the skins shot themselves in the foot so many times its a wonder they were able to walk off the field. Granted a come from behind win is good and all but you're being foolish if this win gives you any confidence in the Redskins that the problems of the past few years (kicking, bad qb play, OL blocking, giving up big plays on defense, red zone offense etc.) are any closer to being solved.

Skins shot themselves for sure. Last week we got good Dhall. This week it was good Dhall minus one huge blown coverage.

If we lost the game, he and Rex would've been the biggest culprits.

Put it this way, I hope the coaching staff has perspective. It's great they were able to come back and pull this one out. Cannot take that away from them.

But the game should've been over in the first half. If a team like the Pats has the kind of yards and TOP we had they would ice the game off. Not saying we are that good, but there is definitely room for improvement. No need for this game to have been a nail bitter.

Of course I am happy though, and will enjoy the win. But I am not blind.

Exactly, on paper we handled the Cards -- game should have never been as close as it was let alone hinging on a field goal with 2 minutes left to win.

My only complaints are Rex early and our Run D in the 2nd half

Hey someone had to step up, especially with the 'Path descending into anarchy.

I was saying we could very easily be 1-1 right now. But you are right, we did win and winning hides the stains of poor play. But I'd hate for people to get fooled into thinking we're looking at a dominant team capable of winning every game with the kind of play we saw today.

Wet blanket defeatist talk.
We're 2-0.
Enjoy it instead of planning for a future let down.
And we don't need to be a dominant team.
We just need to win.
Which we are doing.

I'll be enjoying it until the end of the day, but at the end of the day, 2-0 means nothing. 2-0 doesn't make the playoffs, 2-0 doesn't prove anything, 2-0 just means you were good enough to win 2 weeks in a row. I want sustained success, not feel good stories in the second week of the season. I'll start celebrating if we have a division title locked up, or a playoff berth locked up, or a winning record and a playoff berth after the 17th week of the season. 2-0 might make you think we should already declare this season a success, but I don't think that way.

I realize since we won today, you have put on your 1968 Burgundy Colored Aviators, which help to obscure all the bad play from today, but not everybody chooses to ignore reality.
