NC_Skins 09-28-2011, 08:35 AM Fans in here become crybabies when it comes to this guy and it is getting kinda old. You'd think there'd be threads complaining about Grossman, the playcalling, the RBs, etc., etc.
The only reason is his mouth vaults him past those other issues. Had he said nothing or said "hey, we can't make the calls, we just have to execute" then this thread wouldn't even exist today. When Grossman or anybody else starts throwing coaches and other people under the bus after they've failed to execute and talked trash leading up, I'm 100% positive you'll see a thread on that person as well.
Ruhskins 09-28-2011, 08:46 AM Ok, did anyone else think this post was going to end with "kids" and not "PI calls"
:laughing2
Chico23231 09-28-2011, 08:55 AM Hall is Hall... He's emotional and wants to win. He wont hold back those emotions, and I think he played a good game Monday night, and hes been playing well so far this season.
Could be worse... He could be Commartie from the Jets and have like 15 PI calls
Thats the thing, he did. His play was solid all night long. Unfortuanately for Hall, he also gave up the play that ended the game. Whose fault? Well Hall's fault obviously, but the assist came from Haslett calling the same exact blitz 3 plays in a row. BUT Hall should have kept his mouth shut.
Oh Commartie, that overpaid POS got owned by the dangerous Jason Campbell-led passing attack of the Raiders. I watched most of the game, he's miserable. We should be very thankful hes not on the field for us.
dgack 09-28-2011, 09:53 AM I don't know how much to trust the PFF grades, given that the grades are done from tape of the television feed variety, and they have no choice to assign grades without knowing the coverages, but Hall and Kevin Barnes are tied for 81st in their corner grades this year (95 qualified).
The no. 1 corner, per their rankings: Carlos Rogers.
Well, at least it's not Champ!
I had totally forgotten about Buchanon. It's like finding a $20 bill in your dryer!

Hindsight is always 20/20 eh, Hall?
Dirtbag59 09-28-2011, 09:00 PM I said last week that Hall was classless after his Tony Romo comments. Some of you looked at me like I was crazy. Now I shall present you with my follow up response through the use of beautiful "I was right" music.

Ruhskins 09-29-2011, 01:35 PM DeAngelo Hall of Washington Redskins explains his 'overzealous' rant - ESPN (http://espn.go.com/nfl/story/_/id/7030614/deangelo-hall-washington-redskins-explains-overzealous-rant)
After reading this article, I am pleased at the way that the team and Hall responded to this situation. I still believe Hall should know better and act better, especially since he is a team captain. In the heat of the moment, everyone makes stupid decisions, and clearly Hall made one. However, I like the response from the coaches and the players; and I do agree this is nothing compared to what happened in the past.
One concern that I've had about this team is their ability to deal with issues like this one. And from what I read in this article, they seem to be handling it much better than before.

I don't even care that he "takes responsibility" for the blown coverage. I would him rather not say anything or simply say "we didn't execute". I'm not going to hate on Hall for that play because he's been pretty decent for the most part this season. The defense has been stellar on 3rd downs and he's a part of that as well. The thing that irks me the most is last year how he trashed Haslet for not putting him on the best receiver, claimed it was "his" team, and still allows the big plays from WRs. Just shut up is my point.
