Orakpo Named NFC Defensive Player of Week

Thats why instead of Rak Daddy, i like to refer to him as THE SACK DADDY!!!

Orakpo is just a specimen. Sooooo much fun to watch and a consistent impact player. When you look back he's come such a long way too as far as tackling and shedding blocks to make plays. Jeez I could go on all day...

Rak is a beast, but I was loving watching Rocky run all over the place. I'm glad he's stepping his game up as well.

I'm just sad no one's said anything like:

"The last thing we need is for this guy to be winning awards! Where was he the first few games of the season...what did he have like 1 sack before Sunday? Now we're just going to inflate his ego and make him not work on his game"

I guess that doesn't happen nearly as often when the team's winning games, though.

Good for Orakpo! I'm sure he's gonna get a lot of these. :headbange

shoot, he would have double the sacks this year if he didnt get clotheslined every other damn play. I think as of the last game, the refs are slowly catching onto calling that though.....hopefully.

Good for Rak! I think our defense is entering its prime right now. I hope that our offense will be able to step up and complement the defense.
