Hiring Juan Castillo as a DC was a head-scratcher. The last time the guy had any experience coaching defense was at the high school level. Literally. And suddenly he's running the D of a team that has Super Bowl aspirations heading into the season? WTF? I don't get that at all.

I heard Haslet say he knew him and he played LB in college, but....he had never heard of a switch like that either and it would take time. Does seem pretty strange.

Good Roy Helu read. Redskins’ Roy Helu is a different sort of running back - The Washington Post (http://www.washingtonpost.com/sports/redskins/redskins-roy-helu-is-a-different-sort-of-running-back/2011/10/13/gIQAEusTiL_story.html)

Very refreshing....I guess we will not have to worry about him ditchin' his court date to settle his $600k jewelry bill..........

If we get Sexy Rexy, we win, we get bad Rex we lose. It is that simple. If I was Shanny I would just give the Eagles all 3 of our Rbs and run it up Reid's ass. Give Rex some nice easy slants, etc. I think once we establish the solid running game then we can loosen up on Rex to keep the D honest, but I don't think we can put the game on Rex's shoulders anymore. I am not too sure we are going to see Sexy Rexy anymore.

I see this game all about Rex on offense not the run game bcuz Philly will bring 8-9 in the box

I think thats probably gonna be the case also.Just because 1 team has sucked against the run doesnt mean it will the next week.Just look at Oakland last week,they were being gashed in the run game but stuffed Houstons run game last week{im sure to force schaub to beat them without andre johnson}
Hopefully Arnstrong can play and stretch the field and good Rex will show up.How frickin great would it be to see rex throw a strike to Armstrong for an 80 yrd td on the opening drive

Rex Grossman's best performance of the season came when the opposing defense committed itself to stopping the run at all costs over stopping him. That means we better run the ball down the Eagles' throats so we can get one-on-one matchups for Rex.

How the hell is a 1-4 team favored on the road against a 3-1 team? No love from Vegas I guess.

If we're only good for 16 or 17 points though, Vegas will be right.

D.Hall does it right this time. His statements were well thought out and spoken like a team leader.

DeAngelo Hall was sort of circumspect when Comcast SportsNet’s Kelli Johnson asked him this week if he wanted to make a Redskins prediction, in the Rex Grossman slash Tim Hightower tradition.

“I’m gonna shy away from that,” Hall told Johnson. “I don’t need no more heat. Like I said man, we’re on the right track right now. We’ll take it one game at a time.”

It's the NFC East and anything can happen,also the're playing the odds....the Skins are not going to win all their games and the Eagles are'nt going to lose all theirs.In your wins ...the Giants choked and you won the other 2 by 1 point and 3 points,all it is ....is the odds makers playing the odds.

Agree, which is a similar reason I am picking the Giants to roll over the Bills this Sunday. But in this case I think the Giants are a more solid team and winning with more effort than luck as the Bills have had every situation go their way and playing teams that have beaten themselves. IMO
