If we lose to Miami, is there any chance that Mike Shanahan gets fired? I mean we've seen Snyder do this sort of thing before, any chance that it happens again. I am just that angry that if we lose to Miami, we would be a joke and someone should get fired...

Only time I can recall Danny Boy firing a coach in mid-season was when he fired Norv when Norv would not start Jeff George at QB so Danny Boy fired him and put a figurehead in charge for the final 3 or 4 games of the season.

He tried like Hell to get Zorn to resign by humiliating him and turning the play calling over to the guy from the Bingo Hall, but even Zorn stayed out the year.

Best record would be 8-8.

Most likely final record is 6-10.

The Redskins need a lot of work. But after a strong preseason and very good beginning to the regular season, they ended up a nice 3-1 before the bye week. Had Mike Shanahan replaced Rex Grossman at halftime with Beck during the Eagles game, the Redskins might have come back to win. But the awful way they've played the past two games against Carolina and Buffalo has me scratching my head. They've shown that they are a better team than that by beating the NFC East division leading NY Giants on opening day.

But to answer the question, if this team had the desire, they could pull out five straight wins and be 8-4 contending for a playoff spot towards the end of the season. They could still end up 10-6 or 9-7 if they get it together.

Puff Puff give!! Quit hoggin it all!!!! This team is done. I hope i have to eat crow but the skins have lifted their skirts the last 3 weeks with horrendious effort and will continue to do so the rest of the season and let everybody get a tap at it. And Hasslet and K-Shan stay bent over.

Best case I think we're looking at another 6-10.

I'm already to the point where I'm not going to hesitate making other plans on Sundays if things come up.

I am hopeful that we may still pull out an 8-8. Minnesota, Seattle, Miami and Dallas are games we can win. The Jets - maybe. SF, Giants, Philly and New England we would have to start catching a few breaks.

At this point, I can't point to a single game and say "yup, that's a win." We could lose everyone of them although I don't see that happening.

I dont know what to say now but the team has to win the next 3 games.

San Fran- I had as a win. difficult win but win.
Miami- started out strong and scared me but they are doing bad now.
Dallas- we need this win most of all to make up for the loss against them. we need to split the division.

and to quite honest we really need the fan support from whoever is at the game during the Dallas game. I think crowd noise might make the difference in that win as it was for the Skins in Dallas.
