Raiders...I'm still not over that ass-whipping they put on us in the Superbowl.

Could not possibly agree more. I've said the same in a number of past posts. I think you'd be hard pressed to identify a darker, more disappointing Redskin loss in at least the last 30 years. That Redskins team was absolutely dominant and had the chance to repeat as champs, and yet that game was a disaster from beginning to end, what with the blocked punt-returned for TD on the opening possession, the pick-6 before the half, and the Allen run in the second half when the game was already all but finished, a highlight that has remained a staple of SB highlights ever since. At the time, it was the biggest blowout in SB history. I don't actually know when the Raiders began marketing their "Commitment to Excellence" tag, but I do know that I never noticed it until after that SB. Ever since, I've hated that team as much as any of our divisional opponents. I know it sounds harsh, but the best column I read on Al Davis' passing was the one Rick Reilly posted on ESPN, the gist of which was "F Al Davis." Agreed, and F the Raiders, too.

Ravens, never liked them, but what a waste of a good defense over the last ten years.

I understand what you're getting at but obviously you don't know some of the same fans I know. Whenever a team wins SB's there are ALWAYS people jumping on the bandwagon. Some of the ones I know don't watch games but wear Steelers gear and couldn't even tell you what their record is right now or what division they're in. BTW...I was a fan of the Steeler's for years. I have a lot of respect for this organization but because of Ben and the new "Fans", not so much anymore.

I lived & worked in Pittsburgh for 5 years and the fans there are nuts, its 24/7 Steelers. They arent bandwagon, they are hard-core. I wouldnt judge the loyality of Steelers fans by a few shirt wearers in southeast VA.

Funny you mention that. They had the actor from the primetime show Mike and Molly on Moving the Chains yesterday afternoon on SiriusXM NFL Radio. He is from Pittsburg and talked about how hardcore the Steelers fans were. How they eat, sleep, breath Steelers football. They shut down church for playoff games. Indoctrinate their kids before they can even read. The host Pat Kerwin was saying he was at a Steelers game one time and someone made a comment behind him that they thought they needed to get Santonio Holmes to do punt returns (this was Santonio's rookie season) and Pat turns around and it's a 6 year old kid talking about this stuff. You can't go by the Steelers fans here unless they used to live there. I should know, I have enough of them where I work. Adult and adolescent. Makes me sick.

Wait, why is Revis hard to hate? He held out into the season got a huge contract and then got hurt as Randy Moss was catching a TD over his head. Now I will say he is probably the best CB in the league, but that doesnt make it tough for me to hate him at all!I like him shutting down OchoStinko, Owens, and Moss. He plays for the Jets so I didn't pay too much attention to his contract issue.

In the 80's I didn't like the Broncos all that much, not sure why really, I guess I just wasn't an Elway fan. They don't bother me anymore though.

I get tired of the Steelers because their fans are everywhere.

Not a fan of the Dolphins mainly because their uniforms are horrible.

Gotta say though, outside of the division, I don't have any teams that I really despise that much.

Steeler fans are everywhere because so many people moved out of Pittsburgh in the 80s. I travel all over the US and there is a Steeler bar in every town, no other team has that from what I have seen. IMO the Steelers are America's team.
