I get the analogy, but the skins are more like the spoiled, rich boyfriend or girlfriend that wants to just party and people always say should do better because they were raised well and had a lot of opportunities.
That trailer trash boyfriend/girlfriend is somebody like the Cardinals!
Lol! I hear ya, but the Cardinals did come a Rothlesburger drive and one helluva catch by Santonio Holmes away from a Super Bowl a few years back.

If the Redskins aren't able to run the ball, then it will be a long day again for a forth straight week. The only remedy would be for the Redskins defense to shut down the 49ers offense to keep the game close. I wouldn't be surprised if only field goals are scored in this game by both of these teams. But I think the Redskins will show much improvement in the passing game in this game.
This game has all the makings of a ugly affair for the Skins. The 49ers run D is nasty, and we can't run on anyone right now. The 49ers love to pound the rock on offense, and we can't seem to stop the run lately. UGLY.

If we would quit blitzing every down our D could keep us in games. I am 52 years old and I have never seen a DC blitzs on 3rd and 15 so much. If Buddy Ryan was a coach with the Skins he would of clocked Haslett a long time ago. The guy makes me sick blowing games. After the Dallas loss they should of left him in Tx.

SFGate.com : 49ers' Smith, Redskins' Kerrigan are top rookies (http://mobile.sfgate.com/sfchron/db_41691/contentdetail.htm?contentguid=pl9n5egz)

In order for the Redskins to win this game against San Francisco, they are going to have to play up to their ability. Haslett is going to have to call for Orakpo and Kerrigan to blitz early and often. Maybe bring some pressure up the middle from the ILBs. Hopefully, Kerrigan and Orakpo can sack Alex Smith three times apiece. Josh Wilson and DeAngelo Hall have to be sound in coverage. But most importantly, the defense must find a way to limit the running room that Frank Gore is liable to use. Gaps need to be filled in order for holes to be closed so Gore is limited. Truthfully, I still expect Frank Gore to have a big day rushing against the Redskins defense. But I don't expect for him to run wild and have 250 yards or anything outrageous like that.
Offensively, John Beck has to hit his receivers. The offensive line must do their part in limiting the 49er defensive from getting effective penetration. Ryan Torain is due for a huge game running the ball. He's been stifled the past couple of games. It will be difficult against this stout 49er defense. But if the Redskins offensive linemen can get to the 2nd level in the zone blocking scheme, Torain should be able to run for lots of yardage.
