People will continue to talk about this because they think it is some sort of victory for the Redskins, when it really isn't.
Well, there were some strange silliness among the fanbase about KEEPING HIM ANOTHER YEAR to "punish" him and make him suffer. If anything, I'm absolutely glad those fools were absolutely wrong in their assessment.

Well, unlike Shanahan, BB didn't wait to release him or try to "teach him a lesson." Granted that the Pats really invested close to zero on him (a 5th rounder for the Pats is nothing for a team that constantly has multiple picks in the first couple of rounds).
As I've said before, in the end this isn't much of a victory, since it clearly shows that this guy was an issue and the MS should've gotten rid of him as soon as he started here (and get that 3rd rounder that according to rumors got offered for AH).
I think you've got to be a lot more diplomatic towards MS & Allen; they both were knew & their boss just paid an exorbitant sum for this guy. Easy for us to say he "should've" gotten rid of him, we don't have to tell our boss his $40 mil is gone after 1 year. MS did the right thing by confronting him & saying; 'if you take the bonus $ we expect you to play in our system.'
Given AH's attitude, this was a no-win situation for MS. He tried to get an adequate return on the investment. Now that he's been cut by NE, MS & Allen are vindicated to some degree. Of course, it's not a "victory" for the organization overall, since Vinny signed him in the first place. But in terms of moving on from that terrible signing, it's good for the organization's rep.

They're desperate since Gerald McCoy got IR'd. They're doomed now. I can see it now, Fatal Bert blows a gap assignment and Turner or Stewart takes it to da house. Mwahahaha.
That punk voodoo guy they have at Raymond James deserves some suffering. That stadium is like kryptonite to us.

It's funny. We came into the season expecting to have revenge games against Haynesworth and McNabb. Now it looks like we won't even get a chance to face McNabb. Ironically the only revenge game we did end up having was a loss against Los and the 9ers.
