I just want to clearify once again so everyone knows, that Tayler was out of shape because he had just been recovering from a hamstring injury. Anybody who has ever had a hamstring injury knows it take about 3 weeks at the minimum to heal. Plus lets remember he ran a 4.5 40, which is still pretty damn good. It wasn't the 4.3 he's been rumored to be able to do. But with a few weeks of working out again and full health he might be able to do it. Then there was the issue of his weak weight lift. Lets remember though that the guy is 20 years old. He's got PLENTY of time to get in the weight room. To me that just adds to his greatness. Even though the guy is not a power house in the weight room, he still hits you with everything on the field. Thats the kind of passion I think is gonna make him a great player. Just look at ray louis, not the biggest linebacker(6-1 245) but he hits you with everything he has. As i'm sure you all can tell my now i really hope we draft tayler.

That's a lot of information! I'm surprised it didn't have the times performed and the amounts of food consumed at the local buffet and salad bar though!

taylor is a solid player, but trading down and grabbing Wilfork or Starks is the best play here... we need run D

Taylor is a man!! Please Dan and Joe, please draft him. He's gonna be a beast, and there nothing like a safety NAILING a WR across the middle!! It's the greatest play in Football

I'd have to say that a blindside safety blitz would be my call. Watching the QB's neck whip back then get driven into the turf makes me very happy. The WR suffer enough with chipped nails and their jerseys getting messy.

I don't care what his workout time is, if anyone has watched him play his game speed look's as fast or faster than anyone I have ever seen at the safety position, although we need D-line help, I think it would be much easier to fill that position in the future than to replace a player like taylor, I also think it would be easier to fill the TE position as well, so taylor is the man, but no matter what we do with that pick we will get a real impact type player, which make's the anticipation of this year's draft a lot of fun.

Maybe this has been posted already but this is from Mort's chat wrap on Wednesday:

Chris Mortensen: I think the Skins are open to trading if it makes sense. Otherwise, I've still got Sean Taylor pegged for their spot - although Taylor did not have an impressive workout on Miami's Pro Day. Nevertheless, he is a heck of a player.

if for some reason we don't draft taylor(someone ahead of does, we draft winslow, or trade down) why not try to sign Brock Marion to about a 3 year deal? he may be 33 but he is a tackle machine and always seems to be around the ball. the lack of contract offers should help lower his asking price and he'd be an upgrade over both of our starters from last year. just another scenario to throw out there.
