Around the NFL - Wildcard PlayoffsGiantone 01-05-2012, 04:13 AM ...sounds to me that where there is ..."dirt"....there is fire. Alvin Walton 01-05-2012, 07:42 AM I would like to see: Cincy beat Houston because I like Andy Dalton and dont care much for anything Texaswise. I'd like Denver to beat Pitt though I doubt it will happen. The Tebow thing is good for the NFL I think and I love to see the haters gnash their teeth over it. I dont care much for the Falcons but for obvious reasons I'd like to see them crush the Gints. I've made a living out of hating the Lions and I hope Drew Brees embarrasses them badly. irish 01-05-2012, 08:07 AM Sickle cell trait keeps Ryan Clark out of Denver playoff game - Shutdown Corner - NFL*Blog - Yahoo! Sports (http://sports.yahoo.com/nfl/blog/shutdown_corner/post/Sickle-cell-trait-keeps-Ryan-Clark-out-of-Denver?urn=nfl-wp15160) Crazy. I had no idea Ryan Clark had that condition. Or maybe I did after what happened to him in 2007, but I probably forgot about it. Sucks for him. I think the Steelers will still win though. Denver is the one team in the playoffs that an opponent can get away without having a player like Clark. Pgh is banged up but Denver makes the Redskins offense look explosive. Pgh wins this one. TheGuyFromOverThere 01-05-2012, 10:00 AM Hopes and Predictions: Falcons/Giants: Hope Falcons, Prediction Giants (obvious reason for the hope) Saints/Lions: Hope Saints, Prediction Saints (like the Saints a lot since I saw them live in London) Cincy/Houston: Hope Houston, Prediction Cincy (dunno, just like the Texans) Denver/Pittsburgh: Hope Steelers, Prediction Steelers (donīt like the Steelers, but canīt stand the Tebow - hype AND person) MTK 01-05-2012, 10:03 AM Denver is the one team in the playoffs that an opponent can get away without having a player like Clark. Ben R. could sit out and they could still win big. Chico23231 01-05-2012, 10:15 AM My upset picks: Cincy wins, Detroit wins, and Denver wins. I think Denver has more of a chance than people are giving them. Denver's pass rush against a limited Ben could be an advantage. The Jesus factor could be huge as well. As long as everyone is Tebowing (http://tebowing.com/) first. skinsfan69 01-05-2012, 10:48 AM Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones won't consider giving up GM title - ESPN Dallas (http://espn.go.com/dallas/nfl/story/_/id/7418937/dallas-cowboys-owner-jerry-jones-consider-giving-gm-title) We can only hope Jerry stays at being the GM. :food-smil One playoff win in 15 years? I'd love to ask Jerry that if a real GM was making the moves that caused that track record, would that GM still have a job? He knows that isn't good enough and he should fire himself. It won't happen cause his ego is the size of Texas! skinsguy 01-05-2012, 10:48 AM I'm saying it now, Denver upsets Pittsburgh. skinsfan69 01-05-2012, 10:50 AM I'm saying it now, Denver upsets Pittsburgh. I think it's a close game simply cause Pittsburgh is so beat up. Pittsburgh wins a close one. |
