with luck and griffin not falling to #6, trade down and get one (who threw 10 or less ints last season) #20-#64

Sign Peyton Manning in FA.

This is the simplest and most effective way to solve the QB problem. In no way does this move inhibit any other moves the Skins may want to make and the Skins become a better team instantly, even while they continue to rebuild.

Note: In order to play this game of How Would You Get Your QB at this time we all need to make a whole lot of assumptions. So I'm assuming that Peyton will be healthy and a FA and that he would come to D.C.

I think Peyton Manning is done, IMO, it's just to risky to invest in him. He could be done with 1 more hit, how can any team risk signing him beyond 1 season?

I think if they think RG3 is a franchise Qb, they should do whatever it takes. 9 of the top 10 rated QBs in the NFL were in the playoffs, the other Romo lost in the playin game. I think with the way the rules are now, you have to go overspend if you think he's the guy. I don't like the rules, but if you try to win another way aren't the statistics really against your chances?

Does anyone now how the rest of the QB prospects(excluding Luck) grade out against past years?

thanks

I would have two options, plan A and plan B:

A- offer whatever it takes to get Flynn as the starter. Then in round 2 draft Weeden as the backup and allow Flynn to help coach him up.

B- draft Weeden round 1, grab a WR round 2, then grab another QB later. I'd probably trade back for more picks to accommodate this.
