It seems like everyone in the business of white-collar theft knows the best marks are young black milliners. And that's a pretty reasonable way of doing it. If I understand correctly, you only pay child support when you don't have custody? It would be sort of absurd to be making $10 million a year and only paying $500 a month in child support. If nothing else, it provides a reason to be more responsible, although in this case TO certainly didn't get the message.
