That building on the left seriously might be my great-great-grandfathers Irish pub. I doubt it, but it was right around that spot on Pennsylvania Ave in the early 1900's. When he died his second wife, after my great-great-grandmother passed away, sold off the place so she could move back to Ireland.

Here is a picture of an ad for the whisky they also brewed; the ad is from the original Washington Times c. 1901. My cousin's girlfriend did research to find this for his birthday since he's sort of named after the guy:

Thats very cool.
Interesting insight.

Eh they're both great sports. One thing I know for sure is that both forms of football are an acquired taste. If you think about it logically they're both slow paced and they both require a lot of time watching to pick up on the strategy and nuances of the game. If you're not indoctrinated early chances are you won't pick it up and appreciate it later in life.

Which is why Euro's don't usually take well to American football and Americans don't usually fancy soccer.

By the way that reminds me. A friend of mine from the UK showed me this.

For the record he's basically the Jon Gruden of sports fans in that he's never seen a sport he didn't like.

It doesn't need clarification. Are you a ****ing moron? If not, then it doesn't need clarified. If you are a ****ing moron, then maybe it does. So.....still need clarification? I hate being a dickhead about it, but it's a bit ridiculous.

Here is a rule of thumb, if you have ANY doubt or question, don't post it. If you still aren't sure, send the link to Matty and ask him if it's ok.

Only a ****inf moron would not know I was joking and when did you become a moderator? Also note the "LOL" after my post. Who's the ****ing moron/dick head. Your words not mine.

Do these go together. First you show the midfield logo in the wrong spot then a blind person.
