ESPN2 stated: The browns GM Tom Heckert said "RGIII was a special athlete". ESPN went on to say that Cleveland is hoping to move up in the draft.

That doesn't mean that they're willing to give up the two first round picks though. I hope too god Cleveland decides on Flynn. We would really only have to compete with Seattle for RGIII.

Heckert also said they love Tannehill and Weeden and would explore moving down as well

Flynn won't be a Redskin under the current regime

Smoot, so which is true: Has Peyton rejected us, or are we in his top 3 (or is it somewhere in between).

Washington is on Manning's short list, and he will go to the team that offers the most guaranteed money. (http://mike-freeman.blogs.cbssports.com/mcc/blogs/entry/6264363/35140974)

if this is true, advantage us. money is no issue

I don't know what his top 3 is, if he even has one. That said, I know there are reports out there that he's said no to us and that is not what I've heard at all. We're very much in it, but again (think I mentioned this before) we're not really intending to negotiate. We have a "take it or leave it" offer in mind.

Rumor is a decision will be made by Manning on Monday. We'll see.

Translation: I want 21 million a year to play in D.C, I know Daniel Snyder has the money.

If Peyton Manning was ten years younger, paying him that much money wouldn't be a bad idea. But seeing as though he's one helmet to helmet hit away from being in a wheel chair, it would be prudent of the Redskins front office to back off of pursuing Manning and eye in on RG3.

I have a feeling he's probably been thinking about his top three for awhile now - at least since the Colts' end of season.

According to his doctors, Peyton Manning is no more prone to sustaining a serious neck injury playing football than any other player on the field.

The problem with that is they draft 4th. So, they can toy with us and other teams all they like.
