Strange thread.
We love our BB.
I get all my PC stuff there.
Amazing selection of TVs to choose from plus recliners to sit in while you check out TVs.

That basically says it all about Worst Buy and why they are still open.
Best Buy screwing over the old and out of touch since 1983.
Let me guess they gave you a great deal on a fancy Monster HDMI cable too?

you guys know its a franchise and not a chain right? as in, individual owners can do things differently if they want. the pricing on anything besides DVD sales or below wholesale computer part rebate things is awful though (and they haven't had good deals on computer parts for years now).
are you talking about Worst Buy?

They seem like a completely company owned run business.

I like the Best Buy over by my place. Really helpful when i bought my macbook pro and when i was deciding on a good pair of headphones. I've bought and returned a lot of stuff too and it all went smoothly.

Video geeks have tested hdmi cables across the board. A monster cable vs. a generic one (bought on monoprice) showed absolutely no visual difference in quality when watching blu-rays. You can search through forums like AVS (http://www.avsforum.com/avs-vb/) for confirmation.
Why the hate? A standard monster hdmi cable may run you anywhere from 30-40 bucks. A cable from monoprice is around two. The monster markup is beyond ridiculous.

itvnetop bringing the heat! That's a perfect rundown of it. Only idiots think monster cables are worth the markup.

No, it's a matter of not wanting to see people get ****ed over AND enjoying a little schadenfreude when the clowns doing the ****ing go down.

yeah, they can see each other's inventories, but you can't be at the springfield BB and reserve something in stock at the tyson's one. I ran into that problem years ago and was told it was a franchise store and they had different owners. fwiw.
