Golf does not need Tiger Woods. Tiger Woods needs golf. How can he afford that life style if he does not have golf and the sponsors. He has made Phil M. the highest paid athlet in the world.

Golf needs Tiger Woods. I realize it was Easter (and I think maybe Passover) as well, but the Masters had the worst overnight final round ratings in seven years and was significantly lower than last year when Woods was in contention in the final round.

And its not just tv-ticket sales, apparel sales, also benefit from Tiger playing well in major events.

Does Tiger actually benefit......"the quality of the game" or just generate more cash?
