2012 NFL draft -- Morris Claiborne of Dallas Cowboys blew off Wonderlic test, he says - ESPN Dallas (http://espn.go.com/dallas/conversations/_/id/7862015/2012-nfl-draft-morris-claiborne-dallas-cowboys-blew-wonderlic-test-says)

think he will fit in just fine with Dallas...learning disability had nothing to do with it, he just didnt care

the comments are freakin hilarious

I was a little upset when they traded up for him...a real "OH CRAP!" moment...but this makes me feel better about it.

Pretty much agree with everything but the Browns bit. I thought they had a horrible day. I don't like taking running backs in the top 10, let alone trading 3 picks to move up 1 spot to get one. I like Richardson, but I'd never use a pick that high on an RB. Weeden was also an awful pick IMO. 28 Year old quarterbacks in the 1st round? No thanks.

I think TR is gonna be great, I think Weeden will surprise and still a risk though. Point taken

I saw this old lady getting mugged on the sidewalk. Wasn't nothin bout football, so I walked away.

-Claiborne

Why's everyone so down about Morris? He got a scholarship, was a war hero, a shrimping boat captain, and ran from coast to coast several times

"I saw First Name and Last Name. What does this have to do with football? So I blew it off."

- Claiborne

how did this guy even find LSU? He just followed the corn-dog scent.

Judge: Why didn't you pay child support?

Claiborne: wasn't nothing about football

A little annoyed with the Rams. They should have soaked the Cowboys for more picks in the trade-up. I'm also annoyed that the Cowboys got Claiborne. He may be a bit problematic, as Chico indicated, but he's still a good player at a position of need for Dallas.

Yeah, especially in smoots article where Demoff the GM for the Rams was like ''yeah we're not screw you over for more picks like we did to the redskins''.

Expect mike Jenkins to get traded either today or tomorrow.

Hopefully gaffney gets traded.

When does RG3 get to Redskins park today for conferences and media sessions?

My favorites:

"This guy is an idoit" - Vince Young

"I meant to shoot myself in the leg" - Plaxico Buress

""How is I gonna print ma name with no printer?" - Claibourne

I think TR is going to be great too, but:

A. I don't believe anyone else was going to get in front of them. Of course, I don't know that, but I don't buy it.

B. I just don't like picking running backs that high in today's NFL. Such a short lifespan in most cases and I just think you can get good running backs in later rounds.

C. Disagree on Weeden. I don't like him. To each his own. :)

Also: Claiborne couldn't spell LSU if you spotted him the L and the S.

Jenkins ain't that good homie. But it will be fun claiborne vs garcon or ever the matchups will be. Assuming that the brother sees Claiborne as a Revis type that can cover man to man and shut down a receiver. INTERSTING.

From the news section:
generally unproductive play at the game's most important position since Brad Johnson led them to their last NFC East title in 1991.

Redskins Confident RG3 Can End QB Turnstile (http://www.ktbs.com/sports/Redskins-confident-RG3-can-end-QB-turnstile/-/144720/12123562/-/wvv5dbz/-/)

How little research would that have taken to get right?!

More on the topic of this thread: I really think picks 31 and 32 were horrible. I actually really like both backs, just not on the teams that took them. It seemed like the draft philosophy for the Bucs and Giants was, "Hey, <insert current running back name here> is really good, we should pick that EXACT same guy right here."

Blount/Wilson and Bradshaw/Martin >>>>>> Blount/Martin and Bradshaw/Wilson

Ever hear of a change of pace back, guys?
