helu should still be the starter

We know how much Mike Shanahan loves to give his players competition. Yes, Helu should begin training camp//preseason atop the depth chart because he was the starter for the remainder of the season after Hightower got injured. But expect Royster to be in the mix too. Between Helu, Royster and Hightower, the most impressive during preseason should be the starter come opening day.

TH resigned for just 1 year. Which can be either a wait and see approach or he fills a need this year and replace him next year. TH will have to be healthy/ productive to be back again but well see. I'm excited to have that Portis blocking style protecting RG.

Except for returning players injured and how the safety situations work out, there is great belief in this team. Real optimism and excitement for the season is finally able.

I like the fact that Tim re-signed with the 'skins, although I don't think he'll necessarily be the starter. Both Helu and Royster had some monster games last year, I think both of them could be the one and two punch.

Would they keep 4 RB's? Who will be the odd man out? Coming from major injury I would say TH, but you never know. Should be interesting if Morris has a solid camp and exhibition season.

Quite a stable of RB's. Considering they all make it between the 53 and the PS, someone will definitely be up and down from week to week

Glad we resigned him; but the jury's still out on TH. He had a great preseason, is great in pass pro, but was pedestrian running the football last season. Hightower runs hard, but alot of his runs were 2-3 yds, and he didn't consistently see/find the cutback lane; (though before he got injured at Carolina he was having a decent game). From what I've read, his knee is fully healed, and should be ready to go for traning camp.

Good to see him back but I agree, he wasn't anything special running the ball last year. I think he's back more for his pass pro more than anything.

Hightower is a good resigning and think he slides into the 3rd down back role. His pass protection skills and ability to catch the ball outta the back field are a great. Im worried bout the knee and dont see a heavy workload for him because of it. HTTR

Remember before his knee injury he had a bad shoulder. If healthy, he's solid
