And it wouldn't be an Ernie draft without a Euro. Geez, I'm so glad players like Quincy Miller and Will Barton were off the board... oh, wait.

Not too thrilled with Beal but only really interested in getting MKG so we ended up with no choice. I guess Beal, to me, was the best option after MKG. Beal wasn't really all that great at Florida. I watched enough of them that I should have noticed that he was the third best player to be coming out and at no time did that even seem to be the case. We shall see I guess.

I've only seen Beal's highlights so obviously I don't know too much about him, but I like him. I think worst case scenario he'll probably be a solid 2, but I'm excited to finally have a decent young shot on the team. Like itvnetop said, our backcourt is set now.

100% agree. Will Barton should have been the pick, I thought he kinda fell. IMO the europeans are twice, 3 times the regular risk than certainly someone with the skill set of Barton or Miller. Epic fail by Ernie, which seems par for him.

Celtics had a great draft, couldn't have gone better.

No argument here. I like the Beal pick, but I'm not satisfied with his results ever since Gilbert injured his knee all those years ago. I think he's had enough chances.
