The only "concert" ive been to at VA beach was a warp tour like more then 5-10 years ago. I dont remember where it was, but it was close enough to the main strip that we went there afterwards. If im going to go out of town for a concert i want to get all spun out and do stuff afterwards. So i guess Farm Bureau Live isnt for me.

Im not particular fond of Celine's music, but only because im not crazy about the genre. She's a damn good singer and fine product of Canada.

Neil Young on the other hand is straight up aweful. At least to me. I cant get past his voice. Im also not crazy about the tempo or maybe the style of his songs. I think hes a very talanted writer, but im unable to appreciate him otherwise. I feel like he's kind of like coconut or black liquorice. All of which i find terrible.

The ironic thing is a lot of the artist people seem to hate are apparently among the nicest people on the planet. Celine Dion for example I've read that she does a lot for charity and goes out of her way to meet fans. Justin Beiber's ego should be out of this world yet he manages to continue to go through the spotlight humble. Kenny G has also been described as "an unassuming genuinely nice guy." A friend of mine met Joey Fatone of NSync once and said he was down to earth.

Meanwhile a lot of the artist we like seem to end up being drug abusing douche bags. Guys like Johnny Cash who was a great musician but a terrible person. Michael Jackson, slept with kids. Eminem....yeah.

I wonder how that works....exactly, right? If the requisite for being a terrible person is abuse of drugs and alcohol in the music world....the list of good people gets......real short.
