Decent article, I hate to say it but I agree on CP's belief that Snyder simply wants to win at all costs, as he should. He is also correct when he states that some owners don't want to put a dime in the team, don't want to pay players, etc. He is right on a few points in there.

He still mentions that he could make a comeback, but i believe he knew long ago that he was done. Maybe Dan feels sorry for poor old CP and brings him back to let him retire as a Redskin. I stopped liking CP long ago because of his work ethic and his attitude, but he does deserve to retire as a redskin...

CP played the game because God gave him a gift and he loved the huge paychecks and spotlight. He complained about practice and preseason and defended a dog killer. He is the perfect example of pulling for the name on the front of the jersey not the one on the back. Can't stand him.

The last team he played for was the Skins... so there's no need to re-sign him.

What i meant was that Portis could sign a one day contract or what have you and retire as a redskin.

I thought that was the procedure with (basically) retired players that aren't coming back to the NFL, but done as a sign of respect to them for the team where they had their best years.

Kind of off topic a bit but why do you think Jacksonville hasn't done it with Mark Brunell? They did it with Fred Taylor i believe...just thinking about him the other day...

Teams re-sign guys if they had played for other teams since they left.

No need to do that if his last team was the Skins.

Brunelle is still trying to play last time I checked so that's probably why Jags haven't done anything

Not even close.
My point was Snyder is NOT Sandusky. So why write a bio that has mistakes, misinforms and stretches the truth? To talk Snyder up and promote him is if he were a bad guy (like a Sandusky)? Get it now?

The BIO says: "In addition, four players and one coach from his tenure as owner, Darrell Green, Russ Grimm, Chris Hanburger, Art Monk and George Allen, have gone on to induction into the Pro Football Hall of Fame."

Snyder made some poor choices (Cerratto to name one big one) that cost them on the field. But that was a long time ago. Snyder's bio should not be so LONG and POORLY written and Snyder should not have people on his staff that would write such a weak bio.

No. We still don't' get it. It was a stupid analogy and not even fitting to say the least. Dan Snyder is a first class douche bag, but he isn't a child molester so let's not even use those two people in the same sentence when comparing anything. I know you aren't insinuating his is, but it's still well out of line.

Listen, the bio isn't meant to rile you guys up. It's meant to have a good laugh at the expense of Danny Boy and move on. I think many of you guys are making too much of this bio, and many of you are taking the article too serious.

I'm glad some people enjoyed the laugh as I did.
