How many Redskins first round picks were on the field against Indy?
Trent Williams
Ryan Kerrigan
Anybody else?
Sadly those were the only two playing for the Redskins. There was another Redskins 1st round pick on the field though, Laron Landry starts at safety for the colts.
Currently the Redskins have 4 1st round draft picks on the roster, Orakpo and RG are the other two.

After you are draft where you were pick doesn't mean shit. Just because you are a 1st round pic doesn't mean shit if you are not producing.
I would take a whole team of 6th round pick Tom Brady level talents over a team of 1st rounders.

That's awesome.
Please sneak into Gillette Stadium and steal their crystal ball.
Until then, why don't we just pick from the cream of the talent coming out of college.
For every 6th round pick that goes to the HOF, how many 1st, 2nd, or 3rd round picks turn out to be really good or good.
Teams with good and really good rosters win championships.
1st round draft picks give teams the opportunity to get top level talent cheaper than free agency for a window under the new collective BA.
My earlier comment was really just complaining. I wish we had the draft picks back.

I agree with what you said but you missed my point.
Drafting in the higher rounds increase the likelihood of getting good players (or at least players who can make the roster and contribute) simply because your picking from the top of the talent pool. Some will wash out and some will be good.
Draft picks are lottery tickets in that you never know what you have until you see the player on the field.
I would love to see lower draft picks develop into star players because of the salary cap implications.

Yup. For winners, the league is, in a sense, more about 6th rounders than 1st rounders. Winners have the first rounders, as do most teams; what puts winners over the top is cheap productivity from low round and UDFA players.
Then there are the perennial losers, who can't even ante up the first-round component of things.
