Thank you Warpath for accepting me in this forum family. Now to the good stuff. This week can define this franchise going forward. If we win this game we will play the VaGiants in our house with the division lead on the line. If they lose to Packers of coarse. But man I'm hype for this game. This is a playoff game for both teams. So we should see the best out of both. Browns got to Romo alot but their secondary was banged up playing rookies and old man Sheldon Brown. I kinda of have confidence we will show up again on defense. I also believe RG3 will have a big day. I say this game he has a stat line of 250 yards passing 2 TDs rushing for 80 yards and another rushing TD. I'll say 27-21 our way. Hail!!!! Sounds good to me. Welcome aboard! skinsguy 11-20-2012, 08:39 AM I know I'm going to sound like the kool-aid drinking homer, but the Redskins will win this ball game. Two reasons: The Cowboys feel good about themselves coming off of a win, but it was a hard fought game, and it's going to be difficult for them to turn around and be up for a division rivalry game just a few days removed from a game they almost lost. The Redskins, on the other hand, dominated and beat the Eagles - a division rival - convincingly. Despite how bad the Eagles may be this year, the Redskins will be very confident rolling into Dallas on Thursday. This team has played pretty well on the road, so going to Dallas won't be much of an intimidation factor. I fully expect it to be a classic back and forth game, but the Redskins will pull out a win in the fourth quarter and once again, all the NFL analysts will be jumping off the sinking ship that is the Dallas Cowboys. Monkeydad 11-20-2012, 09:59 AM I see Miles Austin have a big game much like Danny Amendola did against us. I dont think we have a corner that can hang with him..... I hope like hell I am wrong. I don't. Bradford is better than Romo. artmonkforhallofamein07 11-20-2012, 10:03 AM Wow. I hope that's right. There is no question that the Redskins are capable of playing really well at times (Eagles, Saints), but they're also capable of the occasional stinker (Steelers, Panthers), and often times, one gets both in a single game (Bengals and Giants games this year). If they can put together a complete game -- a good 60 minutes on both sides of the ball and special teams, they can certainly beat Dallas, and by a considerable margin. It would help to cut down on the penalties too. I think ball control -- a healthy dose of Morris and some TE passes up the gut (Paulsen is showing some real grit -- great reach for the TD yesterday) will be key. Those two keys are the reason why we are 4-6, and are the keys to making a miraculous turn around these last six games. If we honestly think we can win 6 straight then the team has to get that done. Giants East 6-4-0 5 Green Bay North 7-3-0 6 Seattle West 6-4-0 7 Tampa Bay South 6-4-0 8 Minnesota North 6-4-0 9 Saints South 5-5-0 10 Dallas East 5-5-0 11 Washington East 4-6-0 12 Detroit North 4-6-0 13 Arizona West 4-6-0 14 St. Louis West 3-6-1 15 Philadelphia East 3-7-0 16 Carolina South 2-8-0 If we were to win this week, we would have won all of our head to head matchups against #'s 7-10 in the wild card race. We don't play Seattle, so that won't come in to play. And we would obviously move ahead of Dallas even with the tied record. The point being, IF this team can come together, and stop with the stupid penalties. It has every possibility to get in, even under a wildcard bid. Mechanix544 11-20-2012, 11:35 AM Dallas struggled in beating the lowly Browns. I believe the Skins can pull this one out. and we got smacked by the one win panthers. Regardless of what has happened thusfar, anyone can win this game. I think our team is in a better position to pull it out, but should we lose, weirder things have happened for damn sure. I had pretty much given up on a wildcard birth although feel very good about a division winning birth. After looking at this though I have to say I agree. Alot of games left and with the head to heads i feel better about a wildcard than i did a couple weeks ago. |
