The one thing I hate about Monday night football...1 more extra day of waiting. We haven't fared well on MNF the past few years. Last year we lost to Dallas, year before that was the mike Vick beatdown, year before that was giants with Zorn doing the same stupid play twice in a row.

When the giants want to play, they're next to unbeatable. Justin tuck has already said in a conference call that the giants are going into this game as if its a playoff clincher...not good for us. And it's not that I don't think rg3 will do good this game, it's that I don't see our defense stopping Eli, nicks, Cruz, Bradshaw, and Bennett.

It'll be tough and turnovers will be huge this game, more so than other games. Also this game will show us if we re good or if we're a fluke for beating two bad teams.

To play devil's advocate, the defense is playing better now. They're swarming to the ball and playing with higher energy, and I think Haslett is doing (marginally?) better with adjustments. The biggest things I notice are hustle and toughness though, and gotta give Hall credit for being a leader here with 3rd most tackles on the team.

And, one thing I was wrong about is the offense misses Garcon, though not nearly as much as a healthy Fred Davis. Garcon evidently didn't suffer a setback on Thanksgiving either, so he's "due" for another good game.

Plus the crowd should be at it's best, right? MNF against the hated Giants and everybody knows were competing for a playoff spot?

The optomistic side of me says and hopes your right; the pessimistic side in me says it was the Eagles and Cowboys(--and the Cowboys came back too with a couple huge plays) two teams which are really bad right now.

We shall see come Monday Night. I'm stoked, hopefully its the same out as Thanksgiving and not the sunday before election day...

I just hope we come out swinging. That tells me what I need to know about this regime. Coming out flat, like we did against Pittsburgh and Carolina, is unacceptable at this point.

At Fed Ex Field just like last year's score.

Got to pressure Eli and hope our secondary can make some plays. Comes with the risk of getting burnt here and there but its better than giving him all day to pick us apart.

I agree but I really don't see us coming out flat. They owe us one and there's alot at stake. Plus RG3 seems to love big games and I'm expecting our offense to be even harder to stop this go around. To CRedskinsRule's point RG3 rarely if ever makes the same mistake twice because he's very intelligent and I can't wait to see him play them a second time. And Garcon's back. As far as the defense it's usually a crapshoot. But I hope Haslett and the D are looking for a little redemption and as you say...come out swinging.

The Giants killed the Packers last week, because the Packers can't run the ball worth a damn. The Redskins can, which will slow the game down a bit in terms of the number of possesions and limit the Giant's opportunities. Without turnovers the Giants won't put 38 up on the Skins. It probably boils down to who wins the turnover battle and who has the ball at the end of the game. I don't see either team blowing out the other. Really hard to predict an outcome other than to say I'm glad its at Fed-X and not the Meadowlands. I'll go with Skins 31-G-men 24.

I'm gonna go out on a limb here and say that one of my least favorite players, DHall, has a big game.

Also ESPN 980 said that Jerome Boger will ref our game. We are 4-1 in games which he refs for us.

Also I think josh Morgan finally gets into the endzone this week.

As a fan I gotta agree and say Skins win 37-34.

Standing back and looking at the whole picture though, I am amazed that we're saying the Skins will beat the team that blew away the Packers last week. Maybe that's a sign of parity in the league, or we think they're a heck of a lot better team than they were a little over 2 weeks ago...

Or we're wearing rose colored glasses and enjoying our kool-aid. No matter, this is no doubt the most optimistic set of Redskins fans in a decade. And with good reason. I'm enjoying it thoroughly...

Well we beat the SB champs 2 times last year.
