This is going to be a fun one to watch.

Unlike a few years ago, when it was 2 top 10 defenses going at it, this time its going to be 2 top offenses going at it.

Ed Reed today said RG3 is like superman, and for RG3 to not run the ball is like telling superman to not fly.

Do we have a CB fast enough to cover Torrey? I don't think so..

Side note: Inside the NFL guys all picked us to beat the ravens.

Also London was on Jim Romes new show. Jim asked him about our chances of going on a run in the playoffs. Londons response didn't sound too confident at first, then he said we've been playing our best football and we'll see. He didn't flat out say "Oh I definitely think we can go on a run"... :(

if you mean by top offenses, almost the 20th for b-more and top ten for us. ;)

I just really really want to win this one. the years of abuse I have taken from Raven's fans has been enough. To shut them up would be tremendous.

By the way, our last regular season win against an AFC opponent was Dec 26th, 2010 against Jacksonville in OT 20-17, our last non-overtime win was Dec 21st, 2009 against Oakland 34-13.

We are 0-2 (obviously) against the AFC North so far, so even though I think we match up well with both the Ravens and Cleveland, I think it's gonna be hard to beat them both.

Well, I have friends who live in the Baltimore area, and what some of you described in regards to Ravens fans is absolutely true. There is one friend who says that the only Super Bowl that counts for the Redskins is the '91 Super Bowl. his reasoning was that the Redskins played in strike shortened years, and if the those teams had played a full 16 game schedule, they would not have went to the Super Bowl and yadda yadda yadda. I told him that was the standard for being a true Super Bowl Champion, then all of the teams that had won the Super Bowl and earlier NFL Championships prior to the season going to 16 games should also be stripped of their Championship titles from those seasons.

He didn't have anything else to say about that afterward, but he did call Jack Kent Cooke a POS for trying his best to block the Browns from moving into Baltimore, since of course it would have eaten into the Redskins market. I told him any owner would have done the same thing.

But anyways, great guys otherwise, but I DO sense some sort of arrogance among them being Ravens fans. Even now, they feel there is no doubt the Ravens will beat the Redskins soundly, because they buy into the same old song dance about Daniel Snyder, and etc...

So, I despise the Baltimore Ravens. Mostly because of their fans who are turn coats and fair weather fans. I guarantee if the Ravens start to go down the toilet bowl and the 'skins start rising up to the top, you'll see them jump ship again.

With all of that said, IF the 'skins are to drop one of the last four games remaining, I would MUCH rather it be against either the Ravens or the Browns. Because, I DO have a feeling the Giants are going to end at 9-7 again, and if the 'skins go 3-1, they will win the division. Of course, you can't count on the Giants dropping two games, and ultimately I feel the 'skins need to win out, but in terms of momentum, it's best of the 'skins to drop their one game against the Ravens and finish strong beating the Browns, Eagles, and Cowboys.

It's going to be a tough game and I still believe if the 'skins win this weekend, they're finishing 10-6, winning the division, and making the playoffs.

All true and exactly what I experience. The team the Ravens I like the fan base is just plain awful.

If we beat them, it'll be, "Well we had injuries, blah blah blah." Seems so rare when anyone gives a team credit for just executing. It's always the other team had an off day.

By the numbers:

Baltimore Offense:

Yards per game - 19th (343.2 ypg)
Points per game- 9th (25.5 ppg)

Redskins Offense:

Yards per game - 7th (383.7 ypg)
Points per game- 8th (26 ppg)

Baltimore Defense:

Yards per game allowed - 25th (372.2 ypg)
Points per game allowed - 8th (20.2 ppg)

Redskins Defense:

Yards per game allowed - 29th (390.5 ypg)
Points per game allowed - 23rd (25.1 ppg)

The two teams are pretty close to being even, but the one area that is huge between us and the Ravens is their points allowed per game. They are a stingy defense that really doesn't give up points easily. Which means we have to capitalize on the red zone trips. Moving the ball up and down the field isn't going to do jack shit for us. You don't win games with the most amount of yards, you win it by points. Stating the obvious but still.

^^ Got a put a safety over T Smith all game long, simple as that. I like that we're not overly confident, it means we should be ready for every game.

Yeah. I'm liking that too. Try to keep any big plays to a minimum..get some pressure on Flacco..and hold them to FG's as much as possible. Game over...Redskins win.
