I'm lucky christmas eve we drive 10 min to my families christmas dinner. Christmas day we drive 5 min to my wife's side of the family. Christmas night we have a mix of family and friends come over to have drinks and food.

Sounds like me...xmas eve at my house xmas day at the in-laws 10 minutes away then the other in-laws 5 minutes back towards my house. Having kids makes everyone come to us basically.

Merry Christmas to all indeed! Seems like more folks, clients especially, are in the holiday dumps this year. Too many awful things happening recently? But it's still Christmas and the world didn't even end! As an old(er) bachelor people don't expect me to love the Christmas season, but I do, seeing friends and family I otherwise don't see and memories of being a kid.
