My outdoor thermometer said (-6) yesterday morning at about 6:30 a.m. and an even 0 this morning.

I hate the winter.

^ Is that actually you or someone in your office working like that?Haha, no, that's just a random picture I googled, but it definitely could be. People are walking around in coats and gloves.

Seems like they finally got the heat cranking, so now my contacts are shriveling up and my hands are drying out. Everyone else here has mini-space heaters but what I really want is a humidifier!

My office must have terrible insulation and/or the company doesn't want to pay to heat it (which is probably the case) because it's almost as cold in here as it is outside. I normally prefer it really cold but even I'm shivering, so the rest of these drones are probably dying!

Call OSHA if you have no heat that'll take care of it.

48 sounds like palm trees rite now. Strait up shorts and lemonade weather. Give it to me.

Wanna know why I live in Mississippi? I spent most of the day doing yard work in shorts and a t-shirt. Sunny and 70 degrees here.

I'm guessing you work in a big building. When the weather is so up and down like it has been the past week it tough to keep it one even temp. I bet next week when the temps go up 60 degrees your going to be hot.

So who is getting snow?

I lived in Hilton Head SC for a year though they get some cold days there is really no true seasons. I missed having a true summer, fall, winter, and spring when I lived down there.

That's fair enough. I miss seeing the brilliant show of leaves changing in the fall. And Christmas doesn't quite feel like Christmas when you know there is no chance that it will be a white one.

But still, it's the end of January and it is 75 degrees here today. I'll take that.

Yeah come Jan, Feb and March I am ready for some summer.

I went swimming a the beach on Xmas when I lived in HH. IT was mid-60's and the water was a bit cold not bad. I did it more to say I went to the beach on Xmas day.
