The reason why this trade won't happen is because we have no money and really nothing to give up for him.

Revis, Willis, Bowman, Ware, Earl Thomas, JJ Watt, Patrick Peterson, Calvin Johnson, Adrian Peterson, Wake, Von Miller, and Duane Brown are the only players I would consider trading for if they were ever on the trading block

So you would not trade for Fitzgerald, Ngata, Graham, Gronk, Jahri Evans, Patrick Peterson, AJ Green, Geno Atkins, Daryl Washington, Kam Chancellor, Calais Campbell, Julio Jones, Joe Thomas, Vince Wilfork, Ray Rice or D'Qwell Jackson?

I just want to make sure I understand which superstar players that the Redskins would never get you would be willing to trade for.

Revis isn't worth anything to us...we should keep out of trade talks with the N.Y. Jets....

His value is way down because of the surgery. Give you our second round pick.

I doubt many teams will give up much with all things considered. He's currently coming off a ACL tear and will be wanting a huge contract extension. I simply don't see teams offering much knowing this upfront.

simple answer? - No. we can't afford to make moves like this money wise, player wise or pick wise.

no way he is worth the second round and third rounder they will want, plus, he wants to be paid like a top 5 player in the league. 16 mil plus for a torn ACL three months ago with and ego the size of staten island? No thanks. We can do just as well iin free agency and the draft, and build for the future. Some people have a high risk high price free agent addiction around here.

The Jets are paying Revis 6MM next year and we're paying Josh Wilson 5.3MM. Somethings wrong with that picture.

how much did they both get paid in the last 2 years? ( I don't know the answer, but I imagine that the answer would correct the focus on your picture)

Nothings wrong with that picture. Revis has gotten paid 32.5 million for the past 2 seasons. His contract was heavily front loaded, now he's balking at the back half. I would make him play out his contract and fine his ass for every single day he missed.

Darrelle Revis Contract, Salaries, and Transactions (http://www.spotrac.com/nfl/new-york-jets/darrelle-revis/)

man the internet is amazing about how easy it is to find most pieces of information:
Revis: Base........... Signing....Misc Bonus....Total cap hit
2010 ..7,500,000...783,416....538,000........8,821,416
2011 ..6,000,000...783,416....4,000,000.... 10,783,416
2012 ..4,500,000...783,416....6,220,205.... 11,503,621
2013 ..3,000,000...-..............6,000,000.... 9,000,000
2014 ..3,000,000...-..............3,000,000.... 6,000,000
2015 ..3,000,000...-..............3,000,000.... 6,000,000
2016 ..3,000,000...-..............3,000,000 .... 6,000,000

Wilson:
2011.. 2,000,000... 1,333,333.... -.............. 3,333,333
2012.. 3,400,000... 1,333,333.... 100,000.... 4,833,333
2013.. 3,900,000... 1,333,333.... 100,000.... 5,333,333

It looks like the Jets will be paying him 9M this year not 6. That said I will say this, although I don't see us pursuing Revis, if we were able to pull off a reverse Champ Bailey trade, I would be ok that with that. Problem is I wouldn't know until my hindsight vision kicks in.
