As for me, in the last few months I have had an article published in the most prestigious journal in my field, won a grant from the NEH, won a very competitive research fellowship, and won the last teaching award that I could win but had not yet won. Good year for me!

So, I am seeing multiple touchdown dances. Nice.

What that agency realized they were over paying for over qualified help so after seeing a Chimp like you pull it off they dropped their standards.

Job well done Firstdown. The Insurance field thanks you.

Ha, HA. Commision only.

Way to go Joe! It's great that you feel a glow from outworking your competition. It all sounds time-consuming and stressful and I'm glad that you can savor your proper reward - victory!

Great job. Not sure why I have never had an article published in any journal.

Just call me Mr. Under The Radar when it comes to my job.

I'm just good enough to stay off everyone's shit list, while not quite the over achiever type that brings you extra work and projects because you're on the superstar list.

I'm just your typical hard hat and lunch pail guy that will give you maximum moderate effort every day between the hours of 8am and 4:30pm. Overtime is for suckers, I'm salary bitch I'm not giving you one extra second of my time.

I was told I would never get hired for an agency without a college degree and I broke the mold as one of the first agents hired without a degree. Its now pretty common.

You should be proud of yourself, you're a trailblazer. :D

You're also somehow successfully running a business without Excel. I'm not sure how you're pulling it off but well done.

Mooby need not reply to this thread. I ked! =)

I wasn't going to, until I saw this. :( At least I can take solace in the fact that I outlasted my former boss, even if I have no future at my current job.
