Nfldraftscout rated its top 100 CBs
61 Biggers
59 DHall
51 Josh Wilson
43 C. Griffin
6 Winfield (if he chooses to sign with us)
I would be curious to see a breakdown of this into the first and second halves of the season. DHall was pretty bad in the first half, but in the second half -- during the 7 game stretch -- he was pretty solid, and had a terrific game against Dez Bryant in the finale.
I somewhat have the sense that he was out of synch because of poor safety play but ultimately settled into better fundamentals as the season progressed. Not that good play the second half of the season is a guarantee of anything for next season, but he knows the system, it's hard to imagine we will be worse in the secondary with at least a few guys coming back from injuries and hopefully Crawford stepping up, and with more of a pass rush (thank you 'Rak). I am not at all unhappy about DHall coming back. And it also seemed clear he wanted to remain with the Skins (not that he had lots of suitors, but I do think he genuinely wants to be in DC). I think our D will be improved from last season (not a terriblly hard thing to do) even if we do nothing but get healthier. My view is we need more safety help than anything else at this point, although I would put RT and a change-of-pace RB right behind.
