Work related, I just had to go buy a dot matrix printer, because we use a 4 part form. Man I thought we could get rid of those things... and same with faxes.

We still have to use a Dot Matrix computer for some of our reports at work as well.

Wow.

I know there's a couple of vendors I pay at work that still use the carbon tractor paper too...I don't get it.

Well, sometimes you'll have a company in which the IT department refuses to upgrade, because if it's not broke, don't fix it! We (my IT department) are kind of like that. When I first got hired, we had an in house program that was DOS based. (I got hired in 2005.) We finally moved on from that, but we still use an old version of Novell Netware, like version 3.XX. It still works just fine though.

Yup! Netware has been great for us, although we did just get a grant from the state to replace computers, so I'm sure if that includes servers or not. If so, we might have to say goodbye to Novell, but it's been great for us. I just read an article a couple of days ago where a company had a Novell server, running the same version as what we have, running without interruptions for 16 years. They finally shut it down to be replaced with a Windows Server, but 16 years without ever being shut down is pretty darn good!
